Rear Joy-Con Shell Swap Ergo Grips
$19.99
This is a replacement rear shell set for Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons. It adds an ergonomic grip making it much more comfortable to hold the switch in handheld mode. Designed to feel as close to OEM as possible without increasing the footprint of the Switch. The grip extends about 1mm past the height of the triggers so the Switch sits flat on the table without resting on the triggers. Since it is a rear shell replacement it is sturdy and feels like it's part of the Joy-Con.
I recommend going for a two-tone look. I can't match the exact shade and tone of the Joy-Con colors, so I think it is better to embrace the difference and order a nicely contrasting color. In my opinion, the Matte Black and Matte Red have the best surface texture in the hand.
Includes ONLY a left and right rear shell. Joy-Cons and Switch are not included. Not compatible with the Joy-Con Grip. These parts are 3D printed.
IMPORTANT: You must be comfortable disassembling your Joy-Cons, which will void the warranty. There are small screws and exposed wires, so there is some risk of damage if you are not careful. That said, this is a straightforward shell swap as these types of things go.
Tools Required
- Tri‑point Y00 Screwdriver
