Born from Real Needs
krayft was started in 2023 as the consumer brand of Hydra Research, a Portland-based 3D printing leader established in 2016. While Hydra Research focuses on on-demand industrial services, krayft was created to solve everyday problems.
Our products aren't designed in a vacuum—they are born from the hobbies and pain points of our team. When a member of our crew finds a way to improve a tool, a home setup, or a hobbyist's workflow, we start designing.
