Why do they only come in black?
To maintain a soft, flexible fin that adapts to the plant’s growth, the fin needs to be quite thin. If made from a lighter color material like white, it would be translucent and let unwanted light through, allowing more algae to grow. Using a black material ensures the most light possible is blocked.
